Stoneham, MA Let's Dance, Inc. company dancers are selected by audition for their technical and performance abilities, their commitment, attendance and positive "Team" attitude. Our studio's competition dancers range in age from 5 to 18 and compete in Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Musical Theater, Modern and Hip Hop, in small groups, large groups, solos, duos and trios. Often the team as a group performs in one large production number giving them the opportunity to dance together, further cementing that "Team" philosophy. Often our studio competition dancers will perform at community functions, as well as fundraisers and community service projects. They learn the importance of giving back to the community as well as giving them other performance opportunities. As a part of the competition team, students are given the opportunity to take classes from educators from around the country, to travel and perform in many different venues. This involvement teaches them at a young age the importance of team work, time management skills and the value of commitment all while working to reach a common goal.
